MAY CLUB NIGHT
Whenever the club has a
dealer demo night there is
always a sense of hidden
excitement about
Sandyacres Club, the club’s
normal meeting place.
May's club night was no
exception: the place literally
hummed. Triumph Laguna
Ashford were kind enough
to bring down several great
bikes for our pleasure, ably
assisted by Dave
Collins who helped
organise the transfer and return to Laguna's of the bikes. The first
group went out at about 1900 led by yours truly on a Triumph Tiger. I
made sure I was first in the
queue! Just as well as
spaces filled up pretty
rapidly for the remainder of
the night, the last ride going
out well after 2100 when
the light was fast fading.
It’s an evening like that
when I feel very sorry for all
those folk who don't really
understand the psyche of
motorcyclist - lots of
nattering (about bikes
naturally), friendly banter
and a great atmosphere.

Roll on July club night
when we have a visit
organised by Laguna KTM
and Kawazaki for demo
rides. Should be a corker of
