March Club Night: Annual General Meeting
Do come along to the AGM. Your Chairman and other senior committee
members will present their reports of the last year and you will have the
opportunity to join the committee and vote for the Club Member of the Year.
Chairman’s Award
The Chairman’s Award was introduced by Ian Booth when he was the EKAM
chairman. It is made each year to the person, or persons, who the Chairman
thinks has contributed greatly to the club but who’s work may not have been
recognized by club members. The winner of this award does not need to be a
member of the club. Last year the award went to Phil West —Webmaster,
Observer, Slow Riding Skills Course Co-ordinator amongst other things.
Nomination for Club Member of the Year
Who do you feel has done the most for EKAM this year? This is your
opportunity to vote for the person you feel has done something special for the
Club and its members during the past 12 months. In 2009 the award went to
Richard Ayling (our new Chief Observer). Please have a think about this award
and make your vote. You can email secretary@ekam.org.uk, use the
nomination form below or pick up one at the AGM.
Committee positions
We would like some new Committee
members, to help maintain a strong
Committee well into the future.
If you are interested please don’t be
backward in coming forward. Speak to
a Committee member, an Observer, or
even fellow Club members and then
get your name put forward for the
AGM in March.
